Anne Marie Hochhalter was one of the students wounded in the tragic <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Columbine%20High%20School%20massacre">Columbine High School massacre</a> on April 20, 1999. She was sitting outside near the west entrance of the school when she was shot. Hochhalter suffered severe injuries that left her paralyzed from the chest down. Her story is one of resilience and recovery after enduring unimaginable trauma.
Following the shooting, Anne Marie underwent extensive rehabilitation. She became an advocate for <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/disability%20awareness">disability awareness</a> and spoke publicly about her experiences and the need for <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/gun%20control">gun control</a>.
